What is a Humanist Officiant?

wedding-armHumanist Officiants are licensed by the province of Ontario for the purpose of performing legal marriages. In Ontario, humanist officiants are regulated by the Ontario Humanist Society, which provides training and credentials to perform rites of passage for anyone desiring humanist or non-religious ceremonies.
